LE REVE AUX COULEURS RESILIENTES is a retrospective exhibition of Eric's work over his extensive 60 year artistic career, expertly organized by guest curator Debra Vanderburg Spencer. Thank you to Corrine and Joe of Kenkeleba and everyone who braved the rain to join us for the opening.

Thank you to all who attended the opening reception on June 23rd. It was so good to meet new admirers and to spend some time reminiscing with old patrons on a beautiful summer day. And a special thank you to       Debra Spencer for organizing and making this show a success at The Interchurch Center.

Eric was honored and presented with an award for leadership in Haitian culture by The Friends Of FOKAL on March 27th. The evening celebrated The Promise of Haiti II: The Renaissance of Gingerbread Houses, Art & Architecture in Support of FOKAL. Several of Eric's artwork from his Gingerbread house series were on display at the Medici Group headquarters in New York, where the event was held.

 

Fellow honorees were Hon. Scott Stringer, New York City Comptroller and Frans & Sweet Joy Johansson of the Medici Group. Key note speaker was H.E. Michele D. Pierre-Louis, President of FOKAL and the former Prime Minister of Haiti.
